The prestigious NIST-MGI Postdoctoral Fellowships are granted to individuals with outstanding merit to contribute to collaborative Materials Genome Initiative (MGI) related projects lead by researchers at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Northwestern University, for one-year. The fellows are expected to spend nine months of their time researching at NIST and three months of their time researching at Northwestern University. A total of four fellowships will be granted each year. The fellowships can be renewed annually for up to two years.
